Happy New Year?

Happy New Year?

A lot of us heard fireworks going off to celebrate the start of the new year. But for people in Israel, it wasn’t fireworks but rockets exploding that marked the new year. Hamas launched another rocket barrage at Tel Aviv, demonstrating that despite Israel’s attempts to root out the terrorists from Gaza, many more remain. The intense fighting continues, and the threat of the war from Hezbollah in the north continues to grow. Israel needs our prayers now more than ever. Israel needs our voices now more than ever. Israel needs our support now more than ever. Israel needs our help now more than ever.

The War Spreads Again

The War Spreads Again

Elite special forces units from Iran’s Revolutionary Guard have been active in propping up the brutal Assad dictatorship, fighting in Syria’s civil war. Iran is helping—not just to support Assad, but because Syria gives them another base on Israel’s northern border. The IDF has now been striking military targets inside Syria, and a top IRGC commander was killed in a strike earlier this week. This is yet another expansion of the war…a war that Israel has no choice but to fight and win.

A Grim Milestone

A Grim Milestone

There have now been more than 500 IDF soldiers killed in the war that started on October 7. These young men and women go out every day, risking their own lives in defense of their homes and families. These courageous heroes deserve more than just our respect…they deserve our help. That’s why we are doing so much to reach out to the families of the fallen, to those soldiers who are injured, and to those who are dealing with PTSD because of what they have endured.

Fighting Grows in the North

Fighting Grows in the North

The Hezbollah terrorists who are so deeply entrenched in Lebanon have been given instructions from Iran to step up attacks on Israel. Dozens of rockets and missiles have been fired across the border. Israeli military installations have been targeted. As the war continues to rage in Gaza, the IDF is being stretched thin. Tens of thousands of reservists have been activated, turning their lives upside down. The people of Israel are suffering, and the help the Jerusalem Prayer Team is providing is making a huge difference.

Worse Than Hitler

Worse Than Hitler

Turkey’s President Erdogan went off on a rant about Israel’s self-defense in Gaza, stating that Benjamin Netanyahu was worse than Hitler. “They used to speak ill of Hitler. What difference do you have from Hitler? They are going to make us miss Hitler. Is what this Netanyahu is doing any less than what Hitler did? It is not,” Erdogan said. The fact that we recognize the utter absurdity of such claims does not mean they are not being well received in many places, giving cover to the Jew-haters to increase their attacks on Israel. This hatred and these false accusations are just another reminder that we must do all we can to stand in defense of God’s Chosen People.
