The Jerusalem Prayer Team’s mission is to build Friends of Zion to guard defend and protect the Jewish people and to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Our goal is to enlist, inform, and encourage 100 Million people worldwide to pray for the peace of Jerusalem as directed in Psalm 122:6.
The Prayer Team also raises funds to meet humanitarian needs of the Jewish people in Israel providing coats, blankets and shelter for those in need. The ministry has a website that includes articles about the people of Israel, the problems being faced by her leaders and other pertinent topics.
Members are also invited to post their prayers for Israel and the Jewish people on “prayer walls” that are actually web pages with hundreds of prayers uploaded by people all over the world.
ABOUT DR. MIKE EVANS
Dr. Mike Evans, is a devout American-Christian Zionist leader, multiple New York Times bestselling author, and renowned Middle East expert. Mike Evans’ wife, Carolyn, is the founder of Christian Woman of the Year Association. Mike and Carolyn Evans have four children, Michelle, Shira, Rachel and Michael II, and 11 grandchildren.

Evans arranged an exclusive interview on Fox News Network with Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad during the 65th U.N. General Assembly in New York City in September 2010.
On July 13, 2007, Evans appeared on MSNBC debating with Arianna Huffington and Pat Buchannan while discussing his book, The Final Move Beyond Iraq. Evans wrote The Final Move Beyond Iraq because he believed that an Islamic revolution would sweep the Middle East using “democracy” as a tool to game the system, as this quote from the back cover reads: “An Islamic revolution is spreading and is on the brink of becoming America’s greatest threat since the Civil War.” That discussion can be viewed HERE.

Evans is a member of the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. For more than three decades he has covered strategic events worldwide, such as the Middle East Peace Conference in Madrid and the 43rd General Assembly of the United Nations’ specially convened session in Geneva. He most recently covered the International UN Conference on Afghanistan in The Hague, Netherlands, and the UN Durban Review Conference in Geneva, Switzerland.

Yes, The Jerusalem Prayer Team is an international effort to mobilize Christians to pray for and encourage the people of Israel, according to their Christian faith.
How is the effort funded?
This is an independent, nonprofit, non-partisan organization. It is funded by concerned individuals and churches and gains no funding from any other outside sources.
What is the goal?
The goal of The Jerusalem Prayer Team is to enlist millions of people around the world to pray daily for the peace of Jerusalem.
Did Israel start this effort?
No. The Jerusalem Prayer Team gains no financial support from any government or any agency of the government.
Is there a fee for joining?
No, we are completely supported by the gifts of our generous supporters.
Who can be involved?
The Jerusalem Prayer Team seeks the involvement of anyone who is committed to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. It holds no affiliation with any political or religious organizations.

Your gift to this ministry will allow us to continue to reach out around the world, seeking the faithful who will commit to be part of Jerusalem Prayer Team. We accomplish this goal through this website, through mailings and newsletters, and through visitations to Israel. The Jerusalem Prayer Team is also involved in many outreaches directly to the Jewish people. We provide food, clothing, and shelter to holocaust survivors and elderly Jewish people. The Friends of Zion Heritage Center is also dedicated to speak out against anti-Semitism and the threat against Israel and God’s Chosen People.
