The Jerusalem Prayer Team’s mission is to build Friends of Zion to guard defend and protect the Jewish people and to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Our goal is to enlist 10 million people in America and around the world to pray daily and 250,000 houses of worship praying weekly for the peace of Jerusalem.

The Prayer Team also raises funds to meet humanitarian needs of the Jewish people in Israel providing coats, blankets and shelter for those in need. The ministry has a website that includes articles about the people of Israel, the problems being faced by her leaders and other pertinent topics.

Members are also invited to post their prayers for Israel and the Jewish people on “prayer walls” that are actually web pages with hundreds of prayers uploaded by people all over the world.

Why pray for the peace in Jerusalem?
We pray for peace in Jerusalem because the Scriptures tell us to in Psalm 122:6. Also, the Great Commission proclaims that we would be a witness unto Him in Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria. Praying for peace and protection for those who are experiencing the same type of terror that was experienced in America on September 11, 2001 is a way to be a witness.
What ever happened to Corrie Ten Boom?
Corrie ten Boom received many tributes following her imprisonment by the Nazi's after she and her family were charged for protecting nearly 800 Jews. Following the war, the Queen of Holland honored Corrie as a War Hero. In 1968, the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem asked Corrie to plant a tree in the Garden of Righteousness, in honor of the many Jewish lives her family saved. Her tree stands there today. In the early 1970s, Corrie's book, THE HIDING PLACE became a best seller, and Billy Graham and World Wide Pictures released it as a the major motion picture. Corrie ten Boom went on to write many other inspiring books. There are five evangelical videos about her life. She was a woman faithful to God, who died on her 91st birthday, April 15, 1983.

Sometimes overlooked, the Corrie ten Boom family held a longstanding 100-year tradition of prayer meetings in their home to intercede for the restoration of Israel and for the "peace of Jerusalem" (Psalm 122:6). That prayer meeting ended when the ten Boom family was carted off to die in the Nazi gas chambers during the Holocaust, but Corrie survived. And their prayer meeting inspired the birth of the Jerusalem Prayer Team, so that their unwavering tradition of prayer may also continue. Most recently, the Jerusalem Prayer Team has launched the Corrie ten Boom Museum Virtual Tour online at tenboom.org, so you can visit the Ten Boom house and the Hiding Place in Haarlem, Holland via 360-degree internet technology.
If I donate to this ministry, how will my funds be used?
Your gift to this ministry will allow us to continue to reach out across America, seeking the faithful who will commit to be part of Jerusalem Prayer Team. We accomplish this goal through this web site, through mailings and newsletters, through Prayer Summits, and through visitations to Israel. The Jerusalem Prayer Team is also involved in many outreaches directly to the Jewish people. For example, your gift could be used to help fund orphanages, provide emergency medical care to the victims of terrorism, and aid the people of Jerusalem in their fight against their enemies.
