I pray for my brother in Christ, Joseph. I pray that you will be able to go to Texas if God wills it for you. I also pray that you will consider the cost of the trip and realize that maybe your parents can pay for the trip but at what personal cost to them. Will they suffer financially because of your request. Perhaps you can visit some neighbors and see if they need yard work done, grass cutting, trimming or weeding or season work. I don't know what part of the US you live in but snow removal or working part time as a dishwasher. Sometimes we have to work for a better way, than just parents. Take a bit of responsibility and see how much God will do for you. I claim Deut 1:11 for you. God Bless
