Please Lord I need your help with my marriage.. It has been such a struggle for almost a year now. My heart was crushed back in February when my husband asked for a divorce after 36 years together. I was totally shocked. I have always, still do and will always love my husband with all my heart. He told me he hasn’t loved me for years. After talking to our Pastor things got a little better,. He said he would love me more, but he hasn’t showed any sign of it. I still didn’t feel his love.  Then in the last couple months he has become really mean again. He won’t tell me what he’s doing then when I ask, he yells at me. He even told me today that I don’t do things around the house as he expects me to do & says I say things that I don’t. He lies to me. He down grades me & if I get mad at him he will just make things worst. He is very tight with our finances. I know nothing. We have no communication. He has slept in a different room for years now. Please help! In Jesus name Amen

    Praying for the restoration of your marriage. Hes just being selfish towards you. By talking down to you. (and by silent treatment)..and hiding financial issues, And sleeping in different areas of the home . No matter what you say or do, You will not change him! Only God can deal with him...and bring conviction to his heart! Try and not get caught up in what hes saying...by allowing rage and anger to take over. Instead, Make time for fasting and prayer...and allow God to bring you peace, even when your husband is raging! I pray for a calm for you in the midst of your storm. Take hold of the word of God and his promises...Show him the what it looks like to be loved, Even though his actions are undeserving. When we get hurt, We want to lash back and stand our ground..As in LOOK what you have done/are doing to me! But God knows how to deal with this mans heart, and open his eyes to see the wrong he has done. Let your main focus be on your relationship with the Lord, hes got this!
