He routinely served in the church's food pantry. These two endeavors represent part of his vision for the church- spreading the good news in a big way while also serving individuals in their most basic needs. The heartbeat of his ministry was encouraging his congregation and community to discover their identity in Christ and to serve Him with passion and excellence. He firmly believed that each person is a uniquely created by God with skills, traits and talents meant to be developed to the highest possible level and used to serve God's kingdom.
