Heavenly Father I cry out to you to touch my son who suffers from depression and is always threatening suicide. He is married with 8 children, 6 still at home. He was raised in church and stayed until he was twelve. He doesn't believe in prayer or God anymore. Breaks my heart. I've told him and my husband that it's up to me to carry all the family burdens to God in prayer. I'm holding on to His nail scarred hand. I feel myself slipping until I pray for His strength. I take my beautiful grankiddos to church every Sunday. To see their little hands raised in praise and saying "thank You Jesus " warns my heart.

We received your recent prayer request and wanted you to know that we are standing with you and fervently praying for your son. In times of darkness, remember that God is your protection. He created you and loves you personally. The devil is a deceiver, but your Lord is the Holy Redeemer. John 10:10 tells us “The thief (or adversary) comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” Please reach out to your church or a church in your local area for support. Should thoughts of suicide still be happening, please encourage him to call the National Suicide Prevention Center at 1-800-273-8255. God bless you, JERUSALEM PRAYER TEAM
