Grant me peace, oh God.
Give rest to my weary soul.
The journey is long and the fight is hard
In Your arms I will have safety from evil.
Protect me, oh God, for only You have the power to keep me safe.
Let me sleep with absolution, knowing I am finally safe from the approaching storm.
Grant me peace with my past, promise in my future and comfort in my present.
Quiet my noisy mind, oh God, so i may hear your whispers.
Give me the strength to take one more step.
Hold my hand and keep me from stumbling among the jagged rocks in my path.
Keep me focused on You, oh God. Hide the distractions that draw my eye away from Your light.
Give me the courage to continue oh God. Find favor in my work.
Walk ahead of me oh God, so I may follow in your footsteps. You know the path and You will protect me from the dangers that lurk in the shadows.
In Your presence my troubles abate.
Forgive me , oh God. Bring me home when my time comes. Amen.
