Heavenly Father, we thank you for instituting the art of clowning as something to help cheer us, to make us happy and make us forget momentarily all the unpleasantness in our lives. Help our clown friends to be more respectful to You and us, more funny, more friendly. And as for those who suffer from a fear of clowns, appoint anyone You see fit to set them free of their bondage from their fears. Help them realize that You designed and established clowning to bring laughter and mirth. Speaking of which, there are things in this world that were created by some people to taint and distort a clown's moral character and by so doing, jeopardize the integrity and reputation of clowning. Please, reveal to such people what they are doing is wrong. So Dear God, hear our prayer: We bow our heads and ask, if it be Thy Will, save the art of clowning from those who seek to destroy it. In Jesus Name. AMEN!
