Someone opened a credit card and used it before I caught it. Please pray God places a hedge of protection over my finances and removes this from my credit.

    Carla hi, It is important for you to call the credit card company and to report what has happened ASAP. That way, you may not be held responsible. To protect your credit so that others cannot open an account under your name, you can place a freeze on your credit by calling the 3 Credit Bureaus. You can find their ph. numbers online.     Carla hi, It is a good idea to call the credit card company ASAP and to report what took place with your credit card so that you will not have to pay for the charges. You can also protect your credit by placing a freeze on your credit with the three Credit Bureaus. Experian, Transunion and Equifax. You can find their numbers online.     Hi Carla, It is a good idea to call the credit card company ASAP and to report what has happened so that you will not be held responsible for the charges incurred by the individual who used your c/cd. Also, if you wish to protect your credit you can call the three Credit Bureaus, Experian, Equifax and Transunion. You can find their ph. #s online.     Carla, Call the Credit Card Co. Report what happened with your credit card. They may not hold you responsible for the charges. God bless you and give you His guidance to do what you need to do in Jesus name. The three Credit Bureaus can also be contacted if you want to place a credit freeze. They are: Experian, Equifax, and Transunion. The ph. numbers are on the internet. Be safe and God bless you.

Calling them and placing a freeze on your credit card is a good idea and it protects you from thieves trying to open accounts under your name.
