Joe, years ago I worked on an ambulance and was called at 2am to go to a nursing home and take a man about your father's age to the hospital. When I got there, I realized he was dying. His lungs were so full of fluid he was practically blowing bubbles. His eyes were blood shot and tearing up. I have him oxygen, ekg, an IV, and was drawing up a medication to pull the fluid out of his lungs when the Lord said to me "you haven't told him about Me yet." I was like "oh my God, I have so much to do. The hospital is only five minutes away." The I realized I was making this harder than it needed to be. I just stopped and looked him in the eyes and said "sir, do you want Jesus to help you?" His eyes shot open really wide and he nodded "YES". I said "you just pray with me, ok?" He nodded "yes." Joe, when you're there next to your dad, lean down, look him in the eyes, and ask him if he wants Jesus to help him. Jesus will be right there with you and will touch your dad. Even if he's not conscious
