Heavenly Father, I lift up C.S. to You in the mighty name of Jesus. I pray that You guide his heart, his mind, and his steps. Make him the man, husband, and father You have called him to be. Lord, help C.S. love his wife, Ashley, with a selfless and sacrificial love, just as Your Word says: “Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” - Ephesians 5:25 Teach him to cherish Ashley, honor her, speak kindly to her, and never allow bitterness to take root in his heart. Help him love her with tenderness and patience. Father, make C.S. a faithful provider and protector of his family. Give him strength and responsibility as he cares for Ashley and their precious baby, M.J.S. Your Word says: “But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith…” - 1 Timothy 5:8 Give him wisdom beyond his own understanding.
