Communion Prayer from the United States

June 17 at 12:05 pm
While they were eating, Jesus took bread, &when he had given thanks, he broke it & gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take & eat; this is my body.” 27 Then he took a cup, & when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the[a] covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day... We humbly come to You, God knowing we're unperfect, that we have all sinned & fallen short of Your glory. We confess the times we have turned away from You, in our thoughts, our words, our actions. We are truly sorry for the ways we have disobeyed You & hurt others. Thank You, Father, for Your incredible mercy & grace. Thank You for sending Jesus to die for our sins so that we could be forgiven. As we prepare to receive this Communion, we ask You to wash us clean. Forgive us for our failings & cover us with Your righteousness. In Jesus name. Amen..

The Jerusalem Prayer Team with Dr. Michael D. Evans exists to build Friends of Zion to guard defend and protect the Jewish people and to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We pray for peace in Jerusalem because the Scriptures tell us to in Psalm 122:6. The Jerusalem Prayer Team was inspired from the 100-year long prayer meeting for the restoration of Israel held in the ten Boom family home in Haarlem, Holland. We are committed to encouraging others to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and God's Chosen People. Jerusalem Prayer Team members are also members of Churches United with Israel, Corrie Ten Boom House, Friends of Zion Heritage Center and Jerusalem World News.
