Physical Babylon is not the focus in Daniel, it is about sculpture/image of Nebuchadnezzar, and the beasts lion, bear, leopard and monster, the horns, than a city, or the whole Babylonian Empire, Persia, and so forth. It doesn't matter Babylon as a city or country in Daniel. It matters however in Isaiah, Jeremiah. Ezekiel charged Tyre in those ideas that John expressed in Revelations chapter 18. Trade. Thus, the very names may be vain, my God YHWH in Jesus Christ's name I ask. The important is the king and his ruling style.
