Now, in Daniel's Babylon has not the role than in Isaiah's book. Daniel had been deported from Jerusalem to Babylon, and he became a babylonian public servant, counselor and ruler. Here it is important the kings that represented kingdoms more than the cities which they ruled from... He doesn't prophecy about the city, Babylon, as Jeremiah and he read Jeremiah's book, we know. What about this John's Babylon? Say, for Isaiah Babylon is Lucifer's... That's king there. In Daniel Babylon is basically the Empire, also in 2 Kings. In Genesis chapter 10 and 11 Babylon is portrayed as a single city, in John's Revelations. After that it became a kingdom, it had a king in Genesis 14. But with the deportations of jews maybe it represented also the capital city and its walls. My God YHWH in Jesus Christ's name I ask. How can I preach and write on it? Give me wisdom, dreams, visions, advice, revelation, knowledge, understanding about it.
