    I did this many years ago. Once the trust is broken, restoration is very difficult. You must humble yourself and prove yourself to her, and this is not easy, Read the first several chapters of proverbs. Read psalm 51. Understand that adultery is a grievous sin and causes very deep and broad damage.. I have prayed and there is hope. Don't try to force forgiveness from her. She will need a lot of time and you need to seek solid godly counsel from someone who is experienced in dealing with this. Pray for whomever that might be to be made apparent to you and her.
