Gracious God, we come before you with praise and thanksgiving, full of worship and humility. We know that we are not worthy in ourselves to receive your favor and protection, but we hope and trust in the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ our Lord. And it is in his name that we ask you for your favor, protection, and salvation. We desire your favor, Lord because you are perfect in wisdom and power. Bring me favor with yourself and other people around me. You created the world with all its amazing beauty, order, and diversity. And when the earth became void and empty, shrouded in darkness, you spoke light into being! We worship you for your mighty acts in creation and redemption. Amen.
