Please join me in praying for full custody of my young daughter. Her father and I have been in a prolonged custody battle following a difficult divorce, and we are scheduled for mediation next month. I’m asking for God’s miraculous power and grace to guide my ex to agree/ settle on my having full custody and his financial support for her Christian private education, without the need for a traumatic trial.

Whit on October 17 at 5:45 amThanks for your input. My ex is very abusive. Not only to me, but teaching his daughter to come home telling me she hates me and that Daddy told her I’m a witch. He spanks her for potty training accidents. She’s three. I previously settled on shared custody because I read all the research and believed she needed her father, even though he lives in a camper. He re-opened the case saying he wants full custody of her. He calls doctors telling them I don’t feed my daughter. Now, I’m of the belief that he needs every-other-weekend visitation. Our child acts severely traumatized when she goes to her father and she cries and begs me not to send her, but I don’t have a choice. Of course she needs her father—but she also needs him to be healthy and stable. Thank you again. May God bless you and your family!
