We as a Church has planned for 40 days of prayers in the local Church from 22nd Feb.18 to 1st April, the Easter Sunnday. We encourage you to pray for us so that the Lord would give us the spirit of prayer to pray for personal revival and family and the Church as whole. Pray that during these days we may be purged of all the flesh and be full of the spirit, in tune with the Holy Spirit doing the will of God the Father through Christ, the only begotten and our Saviour. Thank u for praying for us. God bless you, it is a privilege to be in God's family though we have not seen you yet, but one day in Heaven, we can see each other because of Christ's sacrificial death on the Cross. . Pastor.     Hi Linda, Greetings in Jesus name. Thank u for the facts about Easter, which is observed normally all over during these dates. Could u please give me the correct dates for Passover and resurrection of Jesus according to Jews calendars .     Shalom & Hello dear Mony, From Passover to Easter, what a tragedy! One of the greatest Feasts in G-d's calendar - The Passover (one of the three great pilgrimage feasts) & the Church sometimes commemorate it at the wrong time (see the Hebrew calendar for when it takes place in the Holy Land that's Israel) & give it a Pagan name! Easter is generally understood to be named after the Babylonian pagan fertility goddess Ishtar. Even today these symbols of fertility - eggs, rabbits & Sunday best clothing all symbolise Spring & the beginning of the growing season & form part of many church services!!!!! The rot set in A.D. 325, when emperor Constantine convened the council of Nicea the outcome was the Nicene Creed whose teachings, for whatever reason, omitted observance of the "Hebrew Feasts". After this, the word Passover came into disuse & was replaced by Easter! We pray right now for G-d's Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth regarding His Feasts! In Yeshua's name - Amien!
