I visited the Holy Land in the year 2000 the second millenium of The Lord's birth. While visiting the temple wall (Kotel)I read this prayer. The Lord God Adonai watches over me Gabriel at my left Michael at my right Uriel hovers over me. Of whom Lord should I be afraid. Since my name is Michael and I am very devoted to the angels this was quite a revelation and very meaningful to me. On the Jewish ✡ Feast of Atonement (Yom Kippur) this prayer is recited. Michael Prince of mercy pray for Israel that it may reign in heaven in that light which streams forth from the face of the King who sits upon the throne of mercy. I have just said these prayers for everyone here.
