I’ve been struggling with doubts and unbelief lately and it started after I repenting of backsliding and going back to sin for a while which I regret doing. I feel like as if God has abandoned me, yet I want to seek Him and have a genuine relationship with Him and to be one of His. There were times when I felt like the enemy attacked me after I recently repented which could be a sign that’s maybe the enemy keeping me from drawing near to God. I want to draw near to Him but I feel like He’s turning away from me or blinding me from seeing Him because of my disobedience to Him and not seeking Him (I hardly prayed or read my Bible). I want God to give me the Holy Spirit to guide me and to help me overcome this struggle I’ve been facing since January. I’m not sure if I ever truly had the Spirit or if I quenched/grieved it. It’s definitely hard to overcome this struggle on my own.
