Nancy, you have met the first step in your addition - Admitting you have an addiction. 1) The next step is to change your thinking. Remember what Jesus said, "For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts..." (Mark 7:21) He then goes on to list a number of sins that find their origin point within us. But He begins the list by addressing our thought patterns. So I would suggest two things: FIRST: Begin the first 15 minutes of your day memorizing Scripture. This will begin to transform your thinking by planting new seed thoughts in your mind. Gradually you will begin to notice that these Scriptures will come to mind more and more throughout the day. As your thought patterns change you will notice your behavior patterns beginning to change right along with it. NOTE: This takes practice and discipline to stick to this routine. Don't give up on it. It may take weeks and even months but faithful practice of early morning Scripture memorization will change your thinking which will then change your desires and behavior. Second: Do not focus on the addiction. In other words, do not say to yourself, "I need to stop...." This is actually counterproductive because by focusing your mind on telling yourself to stop the addiction you are actually bringing into your thoughts and mind the very addiction you are trying to get rid of! Remember, you are trying to change your thoughts. Instead, focus on the person of Christ and all His glorious attributes. Let His person and His perfections occupy your mind and as you focus on HIM and NOT your addiction. As you focus your attention on HIM He will do the healing work you are trying to do yourself. THIRD: Who are your friends? Who do you hang around with? Where do you go? What kind of music do you listen to? What are you watching on television? All these things have a spiritual element to them and can feed the flesh and our carnal desires. If these elements in your life are in opposition to the righteous character of Christ make some changes. The principle of repentance can be hard to apply but the end result is a positive gain. You are not walking by yourself in this. The Lord be with you and the Lord IS with you!

Jeremiah 32:27 Behold I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me. I declare this verse over the addiction, Its not hard for our God to heal the addiction as he is the God of all flesh.Amen

The word in Matt 1:23 says Gods son name is Immanuel which means ( God with us). Jesus is with you. Get your Bible open and ask God for a word and read. Ask God to completely deliver you from the addictions. Jesus ( Immanuel) does hear you and not only that he prays for you. If you want this then you have to make a step towards Jesus. It's a action. He loves you like no other! Praying God deliver you completely from this demon addiction. If God shows you a church, go. If he shows you the Bible read it. If he wakes you up and speaks to you, listen and follow through. I'm praying for you!
