I Believe Jesus is Coming Very Soon

I believe Jesus is coming very soon. We do not know exactly when, but time is surely growing short.

“But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matthew 24:36).

“But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matthew 24:36).

“When you see all these things, know that He is near, even at the door” (Matthew 24:33).

Biblical prophecy is being fulfilled on the front pages of the newspaper. Jesus foretold that kingdoms would rise up against kingdoms. This is happening now in the Middle East and around the globe. If you listen carefully to the voice of the Spirit, you will hear the echo of eternity and a call from heaven to touch things beyond the grave. You will hear your spirit respond, “Even so come, Lord Jesus.”

The prophet Isaiah described our time as “darkness covering the earth, and gross darkness the people.” He also declared, “The Lord shall arise upon thee and His glory shall be seen upon thee” (Isaiah 60:2).

Look up, for our redemption is drawing nigh!

One of these is Hanukkah—the Festival of Lights—that celebrates the cleansing and re-dedication of the Temple under the Maccabees. The other is Purim, which celebrates the deliverance of the Jewish people from Haman's plot to destroy them.

The Key to Prevailing in Prayer

By Mike Evans

In the midst of the greatest revival in the history of the world—the events described in the book of Acts—in the manifest presence and fullness of God’s glory and power, something happened one day that even further revolutionized the apostles. They cried, “We have to stop! We have to give ourselves to prayer!” (See Acts 6:4). Prayer is the way we fellowship with Jesus.
