The first king over Israel, Saul, was given a massive task as the leader of God’s people. Yet, he did not undertake this responsibility alone. It is true that where there is no vision the people perish, but it is also true that where there are no people, the vision perishes. The Bible tells us: “And Saul also went to his house to Gibeah; and there went with him the host, whose hearts God had touched” (1 Samuel 10:26). This is God’s call for your life and my life today—and we whose hearts have been touched must respond!
This month we are introducing you to two special people who have heard and answered God’s call to be part of the work of the Jerusalem Prayer Team in important ways.
AMBASSADORS
Prepared to move forward

Meet Emma, one of the first waves of the great host of ambassadors who will rally Believers around the world to the great cause of the defense of Israel and the Jewish people.
Earlier this year, I was at the Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem when a large group of Chinese Christians visited. As I walked down the hall, I met a Chinese woman who was weeping. I began talking to her, and she told me of her love for Israel and the Jewish people. She is a very successful businesswoman in her own right, and her husband is a highranking officer in the Chinese military.
As we talked, she told me of the house church she attends and her desire to do something great for God. I asked her, “Emma, do you want to be an ambassador to Israel?” Immediately she said, “Yes!” I told her that we would give her all the tools and training she needed and help her prepare to stand in her homeland for and with the Jewish people. She is so excited about being one of the very first Friends of Zion Ambassadors, and we are thrilled to have her.
When we had the dedication for the museum, we invited her to come, and Emma flew back to Jerusalem. She was sitting in the front row during the ceremony. I had the privilege to introduce her to the huge crowd that included President Shimon Peres, General Yossi Peled, and a host of other dignitaries who were there. Emma had tears in her eyes once again...and a new mission for the rest of her life. One day there will be multiplied thousands of ambassadors all around the globe—people just like Emma who will make a huge difference in the spirit war for Israel’s future.
PARTNERS
Obeying the call

We wanted to share with you these words from a dear friend and supporter of the work of the Jerusalem Prayer Team:
“I had the privilege of seeing first-hand the Friends of Zion Heritage Center dedication in Jerusalem. At the dinner with the leaders of the nation, I beheld prophecy fulfilled as Jewish leaders celebrated our vision. What the most powerful leaders in Jerusalem had in common is that after going through the Friends of Zion Museum, they truly believe in the vision of the Friends of Zion Heritage Center.
As a Jerusalem Prayer Team member, I rejoiced as I heard first-hand from their own mouths the words of leaders like President Shimon Peres and others of how thrilled and excited they are. I have seen the master plan for the future, and I am 100% behind it with my prayers and my giving. As Mike often says, ‘The opportunity of a lifetime must be seized in the lifetime of the opportunity.’ With the $2.2 million payment due in just a few weeks, I ask you to consider being part of the miracle today.”
It is our prayer that you also will hear God’s voice and respond to His call.
The threats facing Israel and the Jewish people right now are so severe that they demand our response. When you support the Jerusalem Prayer Team today with your gift for the Friends of Zion Heritage Center and all that we are doing, you are truly blessing God’s Chosen People in a powerful way.
