Israel Under Attack! - Our Rapid Response Team Needs YOUR Help! - Donate Now

Soon the nation of Israel will celebrate Sukkot -- the Feast of Tabernacles. This is one of the major feasts on the Jewish calendar. In Old Testament times, people would come from across the nation of Israel to Jerusalem for this special event. It is a joyful time of celebration, feasting and thanksgiving...but for the poor and hungry Holocaust survivors it is anything but happy.

This year we are going to change that! We have heard the urgent cry for help from the poor Holocaust survivors who are going to bed hungry night after night. I can't think of a better time of year for us to reach out to them in Christian love and compassion and provide the food they so desperately need right now. We are already delivering food to thousands of Holocaust survivors each week...but we need to do even more. Will you send your special Sukkot gift right now?

During His ministry, Jesus celebrated Sukkot, and made a wonderful promise that I urge you to claim today. On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them." By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified (John 7:37-39).

The Jerusalem Prayer Team with Dr. Michael D. Evans exists to build Friends of Zion to guard defend and protect the Jewish people and to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We pray for peace in Jerusalem because the Scriptures tell us to in Psalm 122:6. The Jerusalem Prayer Team was inspired from the 100-year long prayer meeting for the restoration of Israel held in the ten Boom family home in Haarlem, Holland. We are committed to encouraging others to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and God's Chosen People. Jerusalem Prayer Team members are also members of Churches United with Israel, Corrie Ten Boom House, Friends of Zion Heritage Center and Jerusalem World News.
