A report this week from a Ukrainian soldier fighting to defend the eastern town of Pisky revealed that the Russians are firing more than 6,000 rockets and artillery shells at the Ukrainian forces every single day. By some estimates, up to 1,000 Ukrainians are being killed or wounded every day in attacks across the country. Things are not much better for civilians who are facing hunger along with danger.
