One day, Jesus went through a village where there were 10 men with leprosy. In Bible times, this dreaded disease resulted in complete social isolation. But rather than shunning the ten lepers, Jesus went to them—and miraculously healed them! What an amazing blessing. These men had been given a new hope for life.

Yet of the ten, only one came back to say "thank you" to Jesus for his healing. What a tragedy! Jesus asked his disciples, “Were there not ten cleansed? Where are the nine?” (Luke 17:17) I do not want to be ungrateful for all that God has done for me. I want Him to hear from my words that I love and appreciate Him...and I want Him to see in my actions that my gratitude is real. Will you join with me today in a special Thanksgiving offering to meet an urgent need in Israel?

There are still almost 200,000 Holocaust survivors living in Israel today, and most of them are in their 80s and 90s. The government does what it can to help, but the constant threats against the very existence of Israel require IMMENSE investments in military preparedness leaving little for other purposes—no matter how worthwhile.

Our support and defense of Israel are so vital right now—more than ever before. Today, you and I are standing on the front lines of the spiritual battle for Israel's survival. Your support of the Jerusalem Prayer Team will help us bring comfort to the victims of these terror attacks. It also allows us to meet the needs of poor Holocaust survivors, operate the Friends of Zion Museum, and launch the new Ambassador Institute to equip thousands of Believers around the globe to stand for and with Israel. Please be as generous as you can when you send your gift today.
